چکیده

Abstract Background The novel worldwide coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, first appearing in Wuhan, China, has allured immense global attention. To our comprehension, this research work accommodates the largest isolation hospital-conducted cohort of patients which neuro-radiological complications were retrospectively assessed. present day, full understanding COVID-19 and its spectrum diverse still remains insufficient. Moreover, number reported neurological albeit spread pandemic is also widely lacking due to constrained implementation MR neuro-imaging patients. Results Forty-eight males 26 females met inclusion criteria, with a mean age 60.55 (ranged from 22 88 years old). frequent clinical manifestation impaired level consciousness 55.4%. Most commonly recurring radiological findings ischemic stroke 54.06% parenchymal hematomas hemorrhage 25.69%. Other less imaging brain certain diagnostic entities, i.e., PRES, cerebral edema, leuko-encephalopathic WM abnormalities, microhemorrhages, vascular thrombosis acute necrotizing encephalopathy. Soaring mortality rates correlated serious manifestations, being highest infarction 57.5%, p = 0.908 hemorrhage/hematomas 63.2%, 0.604. Conclusions Intra-cranial significantly detectable infection severity illness. Outstanding higher associated worsening complications.

Bimodal magnetic resonance imaging-computed tomography nanoprobes: A Review

Bimodal imaging combines two imaging modalities in order to benefit from their advantages and compensate the limitations of each modality. This technique could accurately detect diseases for diagnostic purposes. Nanoparticles simultaneously offer diagnostic data via various imaging modalities owing to their unique properties. Moreover, bimodal nanoprobes could be incorporated into theranostic s...

Intracranial lipomas: demonstration by computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.

We present two cases of a very rare tumor, intracranial lipoma, diagnosed by computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In one case, the lipoma was in the superior cerebellar cistern, the other was in the periphery of the corpus callosum. In the case in which MRI was used, identification of the lipoma using a routine MRI examination was difficult. These cases are reported no...

Artifacts of Titanium, Zirconium, and Binary Titanium-Zirconium Abutments in Compute Tomography, Cone Beam Computed Tomography, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Aim: The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate imaging artifacts induced by Titanium, Zirconium, Titanium-Zirconium abutments in CT, MRI and CBCT imaging modalities. Methods: A 4×8mm titanium fixture was inserted in a dry human mandible. Titanium, Zirconium and Titanium–Zirconium abutments measuring 10.5 mm in height are located on the fixture, one by one. Each abutment was scan...

Comprehensive assessment of a post-coronary bypass graft patient with cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging and multi-detector computed tomography

Coronary bypass graft surgery (CABG) is a revascularization procedure which reduces myocardial ischemia and cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in selected patients; however, up to 40% of saphanous vein grafts may degenerate over 10 years. Although coronary angiography is the gold standard to detect graft patency and native vessel disease, sometimes it is difficult to locate the grafts resul...
